D2L Brightspace brief outage on October 16, 2019 evening

There will be a 5-minute disruption to D2L Brightspace on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, anytime between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

D2L’s Infrastructure teams need to perform emergency maintenance that is expected to take 5 minutes to complete.

Possible user impact will be:

Logged in users may be kicked off if they are navigating in the site during the outage.
Users may not experience anything if they are on a static page.
User login attempts will fail, and users may receive a 500 error during login.
