Scheduled Ryecast Maintenance: Thursday, August 13, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Ryecast (ryecast.ryerson.ca) will undergo scheduled maintenance and will be unavailable on Thursday, August 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The website and all existing videos will not be accessible for the duration of the update.

Scheduled Turnitin Maintenance on August 1, 2020 from 11AM – 5PM

Based on Turnitin scheduled maintenance, the Turnitin services will not be available on August 1, 2020 from 11AM – 5PM. Instructors are encouraged to make sure assignment due dates are either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window.

Students should ensure that their assignments were submitted before the due date.

RAMSS outage: from 11:50 p.m., Thursday, November 7 until 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019

RAMSS will not be available from 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 to 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 for a system upgrade. All other applications accessed through the my.ryerson portal will still be available.

D2L Brightspace brief outage on October 16, 2019 evening

There will be a 5-minute disruption to D2L Brightspace on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, anytime between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

D2L’s Infrastructure teams need to perform emergency maintenance that is expected to take 5 minutes to complete.

Possible user impact will be:

  • Logged in users may be kicked off if they are navigating in the site during the outage.
  • Users may not experience anything if they are on a static page.
  • User login attempts will fail, and users may receive a 500 error during login.
